| I believe Photoshop is ten times better than Gimp. In my opinion Gimp is a start off software. Once you get professional on to Photoshop then you move to Cinema 4D, which was the software that they used to make Transformers 1, 2 and 3. | |

| Gimp is amazing for someone who wants to learn and is strapped on cash. You'll prolly want to advance into pirated (i'd assume) versions of more mainstream tools though. | |

| I use Adobe Photoshop CS5.5 as well as the entire CS5.5 Master Suite for graphics. Illustrator comes in handy as well.. but only for vector art. | |

| I'm pretty sure, no i'm 100% sure that Photo Shop has way more tools to use, and it's a better quality, the only reason why I'd favor with Gimp is because it's free, and i already have it. lol. | |

| Gimp is only good for beginners i think. When you get good you should move up to Photoshop | |
